Level Vials
Product Description
Circular Level Vials, also called bullseye level vials or round bubble level vials, are designed to indicate whether a surface is level in two horizontal directions at the same time. When the bubble is centered within the reference circle, the surface or instrument is horizontally aligned.
Unlike tubular vials, which mainly indicate inclination along one axis, circular vials detect tilt in any radial direction. Their compact round construction makes them suitable for installation in surveying instruments, tripods, cameras, weighing equipment, machine tools, furniture, recreational vehicles and other leveling devices.
We supply circular level vials in both acrylic and glass. Acrylic vials are lightweight, economical and resistant to everyday impact, making them suitable for general tools and high-volume OEM products. Glass vials offer excellent transparency, surface hardness and dimensional stability for instruments requiring consistent visual performance.
The vial body is filled with a low-viscosity colored liquid, leaving a clearly visible bubble. One or more concentric reference circles may be printed on the top surface to help the operator identify the level position quickly.
Sensitivity, size, liquid color, bubble size and reference markings can be adjusted according to the installation requirements of the customer’s equipment. Circular vials may also be supplied with flanges, housings, adhesive bases or other mounting structures under the separate Mounted Level Vials category.
Acrylic circular vials are manufactured from transparent PMMA and are the most widely used option for general-purpose and OEM leveling products.
