Sizes

Sight Glass with Hole can be produced in outer diameters from 10 mm to 420 mm and thicknesses from 1 mm to 30 mm. Larger or thicker discs can be evaluated according to the application and manufacturing requirements.

A 10.5 mm central hole is commonly used for mechanical wiper systems. Other hole diameters, off-center openings and multiple-hole arrangements are available according to customer drawings.

• A: Choose soda-lime glass for moderate-temperature and economical applications. Borosilicate glass 3.3 is generally preferred for industrial process equipment operating at temperatures up to approximately 280°C under suitable pressure-duty conditions. Aluminosilicate or quartz glass may be considered for higher-temperature applications.
